I love Real Estate! I especially enjoy working with first time home buyers and sellers and setting the stage for their first real estate experience. I have worked hard to surround myself with trusted professionals to provide the best knowledge of Real Estate, mortgages and legal matters involved with all home sales/purchases. Professional Knowledge

I see ongoing education as must in this business and will always strive to be up on the latest information. To this end I have completed additional training to list and buy rural properties along with completing the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation and Certified Condominium Specialist designation. I have taken this effort to help provide you with the best in service and real estate advice.

Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR^®)

Not all buyer’s representatives are equal. All Realtors must subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics, which helps ensure that you will be treated honestly. But as a Realtor with the ABR® designation I have gone a step further, by completing Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) training, specialized education offered by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC). I can provide you with valued assistance throughout the transaction and help you make informed decision that will lead to a successful home purchase.

Certified Condominium Specialist (CCS^®)

As a Certified Condominium Specialist, I have additional education and knowledge that can save you time and money in finding the right condominium for you. This form of ownership creates many issues, concerns and complexities that require special knowledge to protect you. I understand what to ask and look for (i.e. are pets allowed? is parking titled or assigned? etc.). Understanding which condominium documents are the most important to obtain will help you make an informed decision when removing conditions. In addition, I will provide you the name of trusted professional who will review your condominium documents before making your final decision.

Personal

I was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, and have loved making Calgary my home for the past 17 years. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering in my community, playing Ringette and spending time with my family. Whenever possible, we love to travel!

I have always been passionate about giving to causes close to my heart. A portion of all of my sales goes to Kids Help Phone. In addition, I have been a long time supporter of the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Kim Arndt - Realtor^®

I have been working with Marnie in the real estate business since 2007 and I am excited to recently have become a licensed realtor myself. My previous career in administration and marketing is a great asset to Marnie’s team. I enjoy assisting with computer tasks relating to Marnie's website and the production of ads and brochures used in the marketing of properties listed for sale.

Personal

I grew up in Calgary and graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, the outdoors, photography and playing Ringette. I am proud to have competed six marathons with my most memorable one on the cobble stone streets of Quebec City.

I am proud to have been on the Pink Ring Committee since its inception in 2006. The Pink Ring is a Ringette tournament where Ringette players of all skill levels come together to raise funds in support of the Calgary Breast Health Program. Three tournaments have been held raising over $120,000.00.
