It was so exciting to watch MacLennan’s winning routine as she scored 57.305 to beat the gold medal favourite and world champion He Wenna of China. It was especially touching when MacLennan said, “The only thing that would have made it better is if Karen (Cockburn) was standing up there with me.” How thrilling for MacLennan to be able to walk into London’s Canada House and share the moment with all the other Canadian athletes. Way to win gold, Rosie!
