The Marnie Campbell Realty Group team is fortunate to be able to volunteer and give back to the Calgary community. We sponsor or volunteer with a number of wonderful organizations including the Pink Ring (Ringette vs breast cancer), the Calgary Children's Hospital and the Kid's Help Phone.

May 3, 2015 Calgary Walk So Kids Can Talk Supporting the Kids Help Phone

On May 3, 2015 MaxWell Realtors® including Marnie Campbell, Kim Arndt and Brenda Nault participated in the Walk So Kids Can Talk which raised over $60,000 to support Kids Help Phone. Kids Help Phone is a wonderful Canadian organization which helps support the mental and emotional well-being of the country’s 6.5 million children ages five to 20. It provides a safe and secure place to contact for help and counseling 24/7 and 365 days a year.

A portion of every real estate sale completed by Marnie Campbell Realty Group is donated to Kids Help Phone. MaxWell Realtors® donated $30,500 in 2014. Since 2003 participating MaxWell Realtors® have donated over $420,000 to Kids Help Phone, Alberta Region.

April 4, 2015 Pink Ring: Ringette vs Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Since the first Pink Ring Ringette vs Breast Cancer event was held in 2006, over $280,000 has been raised by its generous Ringette participants. The Pink Ring is a friendly game of Ringette, for women 19 years and older, to raise money for Breast Cancer equipment and education in Calgary. The Pink Ring is honoured to work with the Calgary Health Trust to assist in supporting breast health in the Calgary community.

In 2015 over $52,000 was raised by 60 Ringette women (and 1 fantastic male goalie) to purchase a Digital X-Ray Machine for the Breast Health Clinic at the Foothills Hospital.

The Marnie Campbell Realty Group is extremely proud to once again sponsor the Pink Ring. In addition to sponsoring the event, Marnie Campbell and Kim Arndt were extremely enthusiastic participants and committee members.

MaxWell South Star Stampede Breakfast

The MaxWell South Star Stampede Breakfast was a huge success as hundreds of hungry and enthusiastic Calgarians lined up for delicious pancakes and sausages. Mother Nature provided a gorgeous morning for clients and guests to enjoy great food, and entertainment. Marnie Campbell and Kim Arndt, of Marnie Campbell Realty Group were thrilled to flip hundreds of pancakes.

Non-perishable food donations went to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.

May 6, 2012 Calgary Walk So Kids Can Talk Supporting the Kids Help Phone

A portion of every real estate sale completed by Marnie Campbell Realty Group is donated to Kids Help Phone. The Kids Help Phone is a wonderful Canadian organization, providing a 24-hour, toll-free phone line for children and youth, who need a safe and secure place to call for help and counseling. Since 2003 MaxWell Realtors® have donated over $306,000 to Kids Help Phone, Alberta Region.

Kids Help Phone is available to help 6.5 millions kids in Canada between the ages of five and 20. Canadian kids experience depression, bulling, stress and anxiety. One child in every class of 30 will have an anxiety disorder, 31% of graduating high school students experience stress from over-commitment and 1 in 5 middle school student say the washroom is a place they avoid due to fear of being bullied.

On May 6, 2012 Maxwell Realtors® including Marnie Campbell and Kim Arndt raised funds and participated in the Walk So Kids Can Talk. It was a beautiful day to walk the 5km walk along the Bow River.

Families and kids of all ages participate in the Walk So Kids Can Talk, 5 km walk along the Bow River pathway. 

 

2011 Pink Ring: Ringette vs Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Since the first Pink Ring Ringette vs Breast Cancer event was held in 2006, over $170,000 has been raised by its generous Ringette participants. The Pink Ring is a friendly game of Ringette, for women 19 years and older, to raise money for Breast Cancer equipment and education in Calgary. The Pink Ring is honoured to work with the Calgary Health Trust to assist in supporting breast health in the Calgary community.

In 2006 over $40,000 was raised by 80 Ringette women to contribute to the purchase of a Stereotactic Biopsy Table for the Women’s Health Centre in Calgary. The following year, over 60 women participated in the 2nd Annual Pink Ring and raised over $23,000 to purchase a Gamma Probe for the Rockyview Hospital. In 2009, over $50,000 was raised to support the Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator Program, which works to strengthen the relationships between breast cancer patients and their surgeons, health care professionals, family doctors, cancer centres and community support services. In 2011, once again $50,000 was raised by 76 committed Ringette women to help support the High Risk Breast Cancer Clinic.

The Marnie Campbell Realty Group is extremely proud to sponsor the Pink Ring. In addition to sponsoring the event, Marnie Campbell and Kim Arndt were extremely enthusiastic participants. Kim Arndt has also been an active member of the Pink Ring Committee since its inception in 2006. Kim is proud to be the new Pink Ring Committee Chairperson for the 2013 Pink Ring, May 24, 2013.
