What You Don't Know About Buying a Home in Calgary

When working with a potentially new Calgary home buying client, I ask to first meet at my office for a buyer consultation before showing any homes. The consultations is a bit of an interview for you and me, giving us an opportunity to see if we are a good fit.

At the consultation I will go through the home buying process (even if you have previous experience buying or selling a home you might learn something new) as well as discuss your budget, type of neighbourhood you like and timeline for buying.  When buyers understand the home buying process and expectations on both sides are clear, the whole buying experience is made a little easier.
